The WRFG Freedom Run is a 5K race that travels through historic Atlanta neighborhoods. The race begins at the radio station, located at the corner of Austin ave and Euclid ave in Inman Park. It will head east on Euclid to moreland avenue and will then travel north on moreland ave until it reaches Freedom Parkway.
At that point the race route will head west on the Freedom Park Trail. The race route continues on the Freedom Park Trail, passing the Jimmy Carter Center and Inman Park, until it reaches the neighborhood of Old Fourth Ward. The race route will then exit The Freedom Park Trail at Randolph street, and travel through the Old Fourth Ward to Irwin Street. The race will travel east on Irwin street to Krog street, then head south on Krog Street until it crosses Edgewood Ave.
The race route then continues east on Edgewood Ave through the Edgewood community until it reaches Euclid Ave. The race continues on Euclid ave until it returns to finish at its starting point at the corner of Austin Ave and Euclid Ave.
